What data we collect, why, whom we share it with, and how to stop our messages.
This policy explains how ELSALAM CROPS (Saad Zaghloul St., Abu Hammad, Sharqia, Egypt — commercial register 182219) handles your data on this website, in the customer and supplier portal, and in our messages to you.
The data we collect
- What you write in the website's forms: name, phone, e-mail, company or shop name, and your message.
- For our customers and suppliers: account and dealing data (orders, invoices, payments, deliveries) and the phone and e-mail registered with us.
- Technical data needed for protection: the connecting address (kept as a keyed hash that does not reveal who it is) and the browser type.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, question or supply offer.
- To carry out our dealings with you: orders, invoices, deliveries and collection.
- To send messages about your account, your dealings and your sign-in security.
- To protect the website from spam and abuse.
Text messages, WhatsApp and e-mail
If you are a customer or a supplier, or sent us a request, we may send service messages to your number or e-mail: order confirmations, invoices and statements, delivery and collection dates, and verification codes to sign in to the portal. We do not send promotional messages without your consent. The number of messages depends on your dealings; your carrier's usual rates may apply.
To stop non-essential messages: reply STOP, or call or e-mail us. Verification codes are only sent when you ask for them.
Whom we share it with
We never sell or rent your data. We share it only with those who help us provide the service, and only as needed: our server hosting provider, our e-mail provider (Zoho), and our SMS and WhatsApp providers to deliver messages — or with an authority that requires it by law.
Cookies
The website uses one cookie needed for its forms to work safely; we use no advertising or tracking cookies. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Keeping and protecting it
The data is kept on secured servers with encrypted backups, seen only by the staff concerned, with set permissions. We keep messages while the request is open and afterwards as far as the law and accounting require.
Your rights
You may ask to see your data, correct it, or delete what the law does not require us to keep, by contacting us at the numbers or e-mail on the «Contact us» page.
Changes
We may change this policy; the date of the last change shows at the foot of the page.
